Weekend Binge

  1. Serve here, eat there.Put your snack on a plate and take it to another room. Having to get up and walk to the kitchen to get more food interrupts mindless eating. NEVER eat directly from the whole bag or box.
  2. Don’t linger.Part of the reason you eat more with a group is that you’re sitting at the table longer, When you finish, have your plate removed
  3. Drink with dinner, not before. A predinner drink lowers your resistance, making you much more likely to indulge on something you didn’t really want
  4. Get outdoors. Because most of us work indoors during the daylight hours, the weekend provides a nice opportunity to get outside. Go for a jog, try cycling.
  5. Find a designated dieter. The good news is that the influence works both ways: You’ll consume less if you’re with light eaters. Sit next to each other for extra support.
  6. Water -Whether you’re on your way to a celebratory meal or happy hour, always have a big glass of water ahead of time
